"I am a self-taught artist currently focused on fiber and textile installations. As a drapery specialist subcontracting for major interior design firms, I’m familiar with large-scale projects, making returning to textiles and fibers feel right. My passion for construction drives me to create all of my frames. Each piece is ready to hang and comes in a custom-made frame or is displayed on a carefully selected section of walnut that I’ve hand-sanded and finished.I work with natural fibers like organic and recycled cotton cording, jute, pure wool, merino wool, alpaca, mohair, and bamboo. I also incorporate misplaced, discontinued, and found organic materials, including abandoned sheds by animals that have outgrown them. "
