"I am a Thai illustrator and graphic designer based in Portland. Born and raised in Pai, a small town in the north of Thailand, I found inspiration in nature and the multicultural scene brought by the tourist industry. Although I didn’t want to leave, I had to move to the United States at the age of 12 for a better education. Having had to leave my close family, friends, and a sense of belonging behind, I use art as a tool to reconnect with my culture and childhood self. In my work, I often incorporate subjects, stories, or iconography from Thai culture and use vivid colors to bring those ideas to life.."
